About the role

THIS IS A 2 MONTHS CONTRACT

Department Overview:

The Transaction Management department consists of approximately 100 professionals, each working on various business lines and client transactions. Within our immediate team, we are a group of four experienced individuals managing three desks. The team is highly knowledgeable and collaborative, sharing information and expertise closely to ensure operational excellence.

Daily Responsibilities (A Typical Day in the Life):

  • Act as a liaison for the trading desk on any trade or settlement-related issues.
  • Monitor and ensure timely trade bookings and matching to minimize trading, operational, and settlement risks.
  • Conduct real-time reconciliation of submitted trades.
  • Promote accurate reporting and assist with issue resolution and metrics tracking.
  • Monitor and resolve various error queues to ensure proper trade flow to the domestic platform.
  • Maintain analytical reports for use by the trading desk, risk management, and compliance.
  • Perform UAT testing for new products and trade flows, as needed.
  • Implement effective controls and planning across the Transaction Management Transformation Team’s portfolio, including status updates and metrics reporting to ensure visibility and transparency.
  • Execute communication plans tailored to the needs of specific projects and stakeholders.
  • Manage appropriate controls to ensure compliance with processes, policies, and procedures.

Projects (if applicable):

Project involvement includes participating in transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness within the transaction management team. This may involve system testing, process improvements, and ongoing reporting enhancements.

Essential Software & Tools:

  • Excel & Microsoft Office Suite – Used for daily reporting, reconciliation, and communication.
  • Candidates will utilize these tools to track trades, create reports, manage project documentation, and maintain compliance standards.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • College Diploma or HNC (Higher National Certificate)
  • 1–2 years of experience, particularly in background check validations or a related administrative/operational role
