About the Toronto Cricket Skating & Curling Club: As a family-oriented private Club, our mission is to be a Great Club for our members by delivering exceptional experiences, inspired by our warm and welcoming culture. Located in North Toronto, the Club consists of more than 4,000 members, with a strong presence in the local social and sporting community.
The Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club is currently recruiting for a seasonal Clubhouse Attendant. They're responsible for the overall cleanliness of all Club areas and assists with execution of events throughout the Club.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean assigned areas, furnishings, and fixtures according to established standards and procedures
- Complete event set-up and tear down as per event details including furniture portage, garbage collection, and supplies restock
- Operate washing machines and dryers to clean and dry towels and linens, maintaining a clean supply throughout the Club
- Record and set aside Lost and Found items
- Organize guest lockers, issue and cancel lockers, maintain locker allocation records
- Take care of member requests promptly to ensure outstanding member service
Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred, or any combination of education, training, and experience in related field
- Ability to work in a high volume and fast-paced environment
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and excellent communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis
- Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities with little supervision
- Must be able work with some strenuous physical activity (walking, standing, repetitive lifting); ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays

The Club has a rich history dating back to the establishment of the Toronto Cricket Club in 1827 which merged with the Toronto Skating Club and the Toronto - Victoria Curling and Bowlin Club in 1957.
The Club offers a wide variety of athletics including Aquatics, Cricket, Croquet, Curling, Fitness, Lawn Bowling, Skating, Squash and Tennis with programs and facilities for all skill levels and ages. Along with our athletics, we offer a number of dining options that include bistro dining to a casual sports bar. We also offer options for our families with regular events around the club including pumpkin carving, family skating, recreational swimming and outdoor movie nights.
