About the role
REACH Orton-Gillingham Learning Centres are currently accepting resumes for part time OG Interventionist positions at our North Vancouver AND Langley learning centres. This is an exciting opportunity for educators to join our awesome growing team and work with amazing students in the 2025-2026 school year.
The upcoming positions can be part time 2 or 4 days per week for the right candidates. Part time positions are flexible and can be solely after school hours (3:30 - 7:30pm) or include earlier daytime hours (teaching blocks starting at 12:30pm or 2:15pm) but applicants must be available for after school hours at minimum. Reach is flexible with our working hours for the right candidates so that our team can enjoy the work/ life balance that works for them.
We work with amazingly creative, talented, intelligent children with language-based learning difficulties (including dyslexia) in 1:1 or small groups. We offer a huge library of OG teaching resources to help minimize lesson preparation time and mentoring support for our teaching team. Our staff enjoy a school- term schedule that includes two weeks off at Christmas, two weeks off at spring break, and an optional five or six week summer teaching schedule. Our wonderful teachers are creative, patient, understanding, energetic, and truly passionate about supporting our students with dyslexia and language-based learning difficulties. Applicants MUST have an excellent command of the English language and experience working with students in support positions. Training or delivery of math instruction an asset. Applicants, please ensure you verbally answer at least the first of the oral /recorded questions.

About REACH OG Learning Centre
REACH Orton-Gillingham Learning Centre Inc. is an academic remediation centre and Orton-Gillingham training centre that was formed to assist individuals who are struggling to learn to read or spell. Using the Orton-Gillingham approach to remediating language-based learning difficulties, our staff have all been specifically trained to teach reading, writing and basic language skills to students who have difficulties acquiring these skills. For the last fifteen years, we have grown to become a multi-unit organization, supporting thousands of families across BC and teachers across Canada and in several countries world wide.
We are experts in the field of learning difficulties and O-G/ MSL. The instruction delivered at REACH is based on our research in the field of OG/ MSL and learning difficulties, which has been acquired through years of successful practice, varied experience, and measurable accreditations. We have gained our perspective from international best-practice standards in remediation of language-based learning difficulties.
