About the role
We're seeking a Receptionist for our client in Mississauga. In this position you will greet people arriving at the office, direct visitors to the appropriate person, answer and forward telephone calls, take messages, book meeting rooms, and perform other clerical duties.
- Pay rate: $23- $25/hour
- Location: Mississauga
- Shifts: Monday-Friday | Shift within 8:30am-5:00pm
- Job type: Temp-Full Time

Overview of Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors coming into the office and direct them to the appropriate contacts.
- Provide information in person and by phone and maintain front desk security.
- Process employee badges, parking tags, and gym orientations.
- Operate telephone system to answer, screen and forward telephone calls, take messages and provide information as required.
- Update and manage digital screens weekly.
- Order and oversee stock of office, kitchen and FTC supplies.
- Monitor and arrange for servicing of the photocopies, postal and other office equipment when necessary.
- General administration which may include processing incoming and outgoing mail, receiving packages and transferring internal mail between buildings.
- Scanning accounting and logistic invoices.
- Support employee events and celebrations, including assistance with planning, coordination, and logistics.
- Undertake other administrative duties as required.
- Reconcile monthly expenses.
What you bring to the team:
- 3+ years of experience in an Administrative Assistant role.
- Completion of Secondary School.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (both written and oral).
- Organization and time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience managing a building alarm system, including management of key card access for employees.
