We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Flooring Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their purchasing decisions. Your ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions will be key to your success in this position.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring a smooth checkout process.
- Utilize POS systems for processing sales and managing inventory effectively.
- Build rapport with customers to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Renovate product displays to enhance visual appeal and promote sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and presented attractively.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
Experience
- Previous experience in flooring retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with customers quickly.
- A proactive attitude towards learning about products and services offered in the store.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
