Leavens Automotive Group is Hiring: Full-Time Groundskeeper & Auto Detailer

Are you a hardworking, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working both outdoors and with vehicles? Leavens Automotive Group is currently seeking a Full-Time Groundskeeper & Auto Detailer to join our team! This role supports Leavens Volkswagen and groundskeeping at our three Automall locations.

Job Overview:

This hybrid position involves both auto detailing and maintaining the outdoor grounds of our dealerships. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Auto Detailing (Leavens VW):

• Inspect and check in new vehicles arriving from the factory.
• Thoroughly clean and detail used vehicles for resale.
• Prepare new and used vehicles for customer delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness of showroom vehicles.
• Perform washing, vacuuming, waxing, buffing, and shampooing of vehicles.
• Serve as backup for service vehicle washing when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the detailing bay and shop areas.

Groundskeeping (Automall Locations):

• Mow lawns, trim edges, and maintain landscaping.
• Weed removal and general lot upkeep.
• Operate lawn care equipment safely and effectively (experience preferred).
• Ensure the outdoor areas of all three Automall locations remain clean, tidy, and safe.

Qualifications:

• Experience with lawn care equipment (preferred).
• Previous detailing experience is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
• Valid G2 or G driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing physical tasks.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
