About the role
This position is geared towards an individual looking for a summer job assembling children's furniture in a woodworking manufacturing environment, with the ability to grow learn and enjoys working with there hands. Our ideal candidate would be a team player, hard working, punctual, able to succeed under pressure, show initiative, and have attention to detail. We are a smaller company who is growing and looking for summer students to work immediately till end of summer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations
- Assemble pieces by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts, and sub-assemblies
- Sand and clean objects or parts to correct defects and prepare surfaces for further finishing, using various hand and power tools
- Prepare, record and sort documents for data entry
- Produce and prepare boxes for packaging
- Other duties as required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
