Summary
We are seeking a passionate Cold Side Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at Shokunin. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing high-quality dishes with sashimi grade fish, farm fresh vegetables in a manner that that reflect our commitment to sustainability and creativity in the culinary arts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Shokunin’s standards and recipes.
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and meets health regulations.
- Assist in meal preparation and presentation for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in menu development and contribute creative ideas.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Passion for culinary arts and commitment to sustainability.

Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week

- 8 hour shift

About Nupo
Nupo - "To make life a positive experience for people while they're on a diet"
In 1981, the leading Danish obesity researcher Dr. Flemming Quaade developed a solution that would change the lives of his overweight and obese patients. A formula to help them lose weight while providing all the nutrition the body needs.
