About the role

Your role :

The Analyst, Business Integrity is a highly collaborative position that provides strong subject matter expertise to the Equipment Financing teams and builds strong relationships by collaborating with various levels of leadership in the Bank to advance compliance adherence and oversight through monitoring, detecting, and anticipating compliance and risk impacts as follows:

  • Acts within Equipment Financing, reporting to the AVP, Operational Governance & Compliance to enable oversight of regulatory compliance.
  • of a federally regulated entity, through activities to ensure robust compliance, and risk practices and collaborating with shared services compliance and regulatory partners within Equipment Financing.
  • Subject Matter Expert and advisor for Equipment Financing compliance and is involved in monitoring the risk environment, as the 1B function.
  • Apply National Banks regulatory compliance risk management framework to ensure that Equipment Financing products, services and delivery comply with applicable laws and adhere to National Banks Regulatory Compliance Risk Appetite, including suggesting changes as appropriate.
  • The Analyst, Business Integrity.  contributes to organizational risk mitigation, operational effectiveness while incorporating a client and team focus to align organizational goals and strategic objectives.

Prerequisites :

  • University degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, AML and the 1B function.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, audit, quality assurance or similar risk management area, including monitoring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance practices, procedures, and principles
  • Ability to understand, analyze and interpret regulatory requirements.
  • Strong political acumen, interpersonal and influencing skills to establish credibility, and partner and collaborate with stakeholders to extract time and resource commitments, with and without authority, across the organization.
