Part-time Cashier/Clerk wanted for day shifts and rotation of weekends. Experience working in a sales driven environment an asset. Cash experience an asset. Must have a commitment to providing excellent, fast and friendly customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and purchases.
• Handle cash and credit transactions while ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and store environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer experience.
• Utilize effective communication skills to engage with customers and promote products.

Qualifications

• Proficient in cash handling and operating POS systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic math skills for accurate transactions
• Experience in retail sales and merchandising
• Ability to manage time effectively and stay organized
• Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus
• Familiarity with technology sales and product demonstrations is advantageous
