City Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced full time/ Part time Veterinary Receptionist who is a hardworking and compassionate individual to join our team. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a veterinary-based environment and can manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities with great attention to detail. The ability to remain calm under pressure and experience working with animals are an asset.

Some of the duties of the Veterinary Receptionist include:

• Greet clients and patients
• Answer phone calls
• Book appointments
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and email
• Update patient files
• Handle cash payment and process credit card payments
• Assist with pet supply purchases and handling merchandise
• Have effective client communication and time management skills
• Maintain cleanliness of the lobby and exam rooms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Education:

• DCS / DEC (preferred)

Experience:

• Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
• customer service: 1 year (required)
