We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper/Receptionist(IC1-G2) to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for performing the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and preparing financial statements. The ideal candidate will also support general office administration and reception duties.

The Role

As a Bookkeeper/Receptionist , You Will Be Responsible For Bookkeeping Duties

• Process purchase and sales invoices
• Print cheques and manage payments
• Record prepaids and accruals in the general ledger
• Reconcile bank statements
• Prepare monthly financial statements and audit files
• Complete all tasks related to the bookkeeping cycle

Administrative & Reception Duties

• Order and manage office supplies
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail
• Maintain organized filing systems
• Answer phone calls and manage front desk responsibilities
• Perform general administrative support tasks

Corporate Standards & Compliance

• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Participate in training and development as required
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Customer Service

• Maintain high-quality communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Uphold the company’s reputation through professional and courteous service

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Requirements
• College-level bookkeeping degree or certificate
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or Sage is an asset)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
