Are you energetic, organized, and passionate about people?
We’re looking for a a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to be the welcoming face of our childcare centre—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and knows how to make parents feel right at home.
As the first point of contact for our families, you’ll play a vital role in creating a warm and professional atmosphere. You'll be the friendly voice, the helpful hand, and the behind-the-scenes organizer that keeps everything running smoothly.
This job is fast-paced, and you’re going to wear a bunch of hats.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff
- Managing client membership databases and billing
- Creating fun, engaging content for social media
- Assisting the Site Manager with various administrative tasks
- We’re going to need you to be super neat, organized and have mad communication skills.
- Maintain accurate and confidential family and staff documentation. Your administrative files will be to die for.
- Super professional, detail-oriented and in charge of newsletters & communication.
- Assist with scheduling, internal communications, and monthly reporting
- Handle phone calls, emails, and general inquiries in a timely manner
- Help coordinate special events and program activities
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of prior experience as an Office Administrator, Office Assistant, or similar administrative role
- Valid Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (must be provided before start date)
- Valid CPR & First Aid (We offer in-house training if you need it!)
- A positive, can-do attitude (seriously—attitude is everything!)
- A true multitasker with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to be flexible and change gears at the drop of a hat.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- A strong team player mindset
- A natural drive to provide outstanding customer service
- Detail-oriented, professional, and still a whole lot of fun
- Fast learner and snappy dresser (we’ll give you some swag don’t worry!)
