About the role

Job Description

As a BSO Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support to residents with behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia. You will work closely with the care team to ensure the highest quality of care is provided.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to residents with behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Monitor and document resident behavior and progress.
  • Assist in training staff on best practices for supporting residents.

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in dementia care.
  • Experience working in a long-term care setting.

Other Relevant Details

  • This is a temporary full-time position with shifts during the day and evenings, including every other weekend.
