At the Gahan House, we believe in great beer, great food, and providing the highest level of service through our genuine hospitality. We aim to elevate the brew-pub experience for every guest by using fresh local ingredients in both our handcrafted beers and delicious food. As a Line Cook, You Will
- Prepare food and menu items to the highest standard
- Cook menu items in co-operation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure food comes out simultaneously in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Clean kitchen and work area
- Follow all operations policies and procedures
- Work alongside of the restaurant team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere
Who You Are
- Positive and outgoing personality
- Love for building strong relations with team members
- A desire for personal and professional development
What You Bring
- 2+ years of cooking experience
- Flexibility - Our back of house staff will work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
- A culinary diploma or degree is considered an asset
- Ability to multitask and maintain high energy in a fast-paced environment
