About the role
Agilus is recruiting for a Capital Markets Business Analyst in the Financial Sector in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario. Agilus Work Solutions is currently looking for a Capital Markets Business Analyst. This is a 6-Month contract opportunity with the strong chance of extension.
Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for the payment modernization project.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure successful project delivery.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure seamless integration and implementation of the new payments platform.
- Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to bridge identified gaps.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst (preferably with a Financial Institution)
- Knowledge of payment systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with capital markets.
Soft Skills
- Proven experience in leading complex projects and driving business transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
