Position Summary

The Information Security Analyst will support security policies, standards, practices, procedures, and technologies in order to ensure the protection of networks, systems, applications, and data within the Agency. They will support day-to-day security operations in collaboration with third party vendors, to monitor security events, respond to incidents, and ensure the overall security posture of the Agency.

Hours of Work

Full-time contract (35 hours per week) ending June 27, 2026, with possibility of extension

Hourly Rate/Salary

Minimum $34.13 to maximum $41.52 per hour; salary commensurate with education and experience

Qualifications

  • Four (4) Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related degree
  • Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in IT, of which at least two (2) years of work should be in cyber security
  • Experience in vulnerability assessments, incident management and security operations.
  • Experience with security incident log collection platforms (SIEM)
  • Experience with cloud-based security technologies, specifically Microsoft Security platform.
  • Knowledge of information-based security standards such as NIST
  • Exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Highly adaptive, resilient, and responsive to changing circumstance.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, with a willingness to contribute and lead in the culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events for clients and their families/caregivers, colleagues, other community members and yourself
  • Demonstrates professionalism in dealing with highly confidential information and situations
  • Successful applicants will be required to provide:
    • Proof of eligibility to work in Canada
    • A valid Ontario driver’s licence and use of a reliable motor vehicle; insurability on Agency vehicle insurance policy
    • Clear Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Preference will be given to bilingual (French/English) candidates
