Job Title - Spa receptionist - Full Time

We are a seasonally run spa at Big White ski resort looking for a spa receptionist to join our
dynamic team for the upcoming winter season. If you're looking for a fun and unique experience

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a spa receptionist to join our spa team for the upcoming winter
2025/2026 season on a contract term.
Schedule: Full time
8 hour shifts
5 days per week
Weekend availability
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet guests, provide information about services and facility and provide
guests with positive first and last impression
- Manage reservations via telephone and email. Book appointments through online
software and confirm policies and guest information.
- Oversee front of house and organize daily spa schedule
- Perform consultation forms with guests to provide to spa practitioners
Spa Admin Duties - Cash flow, cash out, client records, processing transactions,
managing treatment schedules, confirmation of appointments, retail sales
- Perform daily opening and closing duties for spa
- Interact with guests and maintain cleanliness of front desk and guest areas
- Handle customer complaints and refer to management
- Promote services and products
- Inventory and stock control, assist in merchandising of products.
Qualifications:
Must be comfortable working with a computer. Familiar with microsoft word , google docs, excel
an asset but can be trained on programs
Previous experience working with spa software
Excellent time management skills
Must be able to multitask
Excellent written and communication skills
Experience working in similar environment or retail environment
Positive and friendly attitude. Team player
Confident telephone manner
Flexible
Must have an understanding of appointment calendar management
Must be able to relocate to big white ski resort for the season or commute to and from work
Certifications in esthetics services or lash extensions an asset
Language - English
Experience:
1 year previous experience in similar setting required
Physical requirements:
Must be capable of lifting 25 to 50 lbs on occasion
Will be seated for long periods of time
Must be capable of standing, walking up stairs and commuting in the snow
Compensation & work perks
$19. 50 Hourly wage + commission on retail sales
