Position Summary:
Tacten is currently looking for IRATA Technicians Level 1 to support projects in the Atlantic Region (St. John's and area). If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you. Responsibilities:
- Assisting with a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks at height
- Proficient in using various tools and techniques while suspended on ropes
- Work within a composite crew and assist Journeyman with various tasks
- Coordinate with other personnel on the job site to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others
Requirements:
- Skilled Labourer Ticket is an asset
- IRATA Level 2 Certification
- Safety certifications as required by client and provicinal standards
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients and co-workers
- Exceptional safety and quality awareness
- Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
- Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driver's abstract

Our core service offering includes electrical, welding/fabrication, pipe-fitting, insulation, asbestos abatement, hoisting/rigging, painting and coating, inspection, shutdown/turn around support, removal of equipment or hazards, confined space (including rescue service), furnace and burner de-slags, nuts and bolts removal/replacement, and class surveys.
