THE DAY TO DAY
No two days will look the same; however, your responsibilities will include:
- Creates a warm and inviting atmosphere through a combination of outstanding guest service and operational excellence.
- Acts as a host to guests by searching out opportunities to go above beyond, to wow the guest
- Interprets guest needs and provides exceptional consistent service
- Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the restaurant, bar, servery, and storage areas
- Assists with the set-up, service and tear down of special events in Southland Yard.
- Work in a safe manner.
- Ensures the room and presentation of the food and beverage items are aesthetically pleasing working with the front of house and kitchen teams to ensure high quality food and beverage is served in a timely and efficient manner
- Executes drink recipes accurately, with consistency and timeliness
- Adherence to AGLC regulations and Proserve best practices
- Thoroughly understands and adheres to proper credit and cash handling policies and procedures ensuring bills are completed accurately
- Controls costs by recycling and inventory control
- Has a strong knowledge of the hotel and reviews hotel and restaurant facilities with the guest

We are excited to meet you. We are looking for someone with a passion for the hospitality industry. We would like someone who has experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Reel Facts certification, ProServe certification and knowledge of AGLC rules is a must.. but you already knew that! Guest Experience is key, we want to meet people who have strong customer service skills, can make a mean cocktail and enjoy being around a diverse group of people.

This is an exciting opportunity. You will be working with a dynamic and creative team. This role will give the successful candidate exposure to different sides of the hospitality industry and the ability to learn on a daily basis.
