Role Summary TSP is seeking a highly skilled NetApp Consultant (Resident Engineer) to support our customer, Telus, in the Canada region. This role is a full-time, dedicated Professional Services residency , designed to provide expert NetApp support and ensure a successful continuation of AFF promotions and migration efforts.
While primarily remote, the role may occasionally require onsite presence in Burnaby, BC for team meetings or staff engagements.
THESE ARE THE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A NETAPP STORAGE CONSULTANT:
- Serve as an on-site (remote-first) NetApp subject matter expert (SME) for the customer’s environment
- Lead and support ongoing AFF (All Flash FAS) migration activities
- Provide strategic guidance and technical oversight on ONTAP configurations and optimization
- Collaborate with internal and customer stakeholders to ensure successful execution of migration initiatives
- Document and communicate technical processes, status updates, and best practices
- Participate in team meetings as needed (onsite in Burnaby on occasion)
YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE EVERYTHING ABOVE BECAUSE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE LIKE:
- NetApp AFF (all flash FAS) expertise
- Data migration experience (especially AFF environments)
- ONTAP subject matter expertise
Preferred Qualifications
- NetApp certifications (e.g., NCIE, NCDA) strongly preferred
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to troubleshoot complex storage environments efficiently
- Experience working as a resident engineer or in a professional services/consulting capacity
