STRUB Activewear is a fast paced outdoor apparel store on Granville Island, and we have an opening for someone to join our team in a Part Time sales associate role.

Do you like talking with people from all over the world who share your desire for adventure? In your spare time are you always looking for someplace new to explore or hike? If this sounds like you, we are looking to hire someone who will work closely with our Team, and who the following requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years customer service experience, preferably in Apparel sales.
• Must be living in the Vancouver area with a valid work permit for more than one year.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work independently and multi task in a fast paced environment.
• Willing to work tightly with a great Team, selling the best Brands in the Outdoor Industry.
• Must speak and write English fluently. Due to a big influx of tourism, additional languages are a distinct asset.
• Must be pro-active and take initiative, with an outgoing personality.
• Experience with outdoor activities during all seasons.

The roll we are looking to fill will take on the following responsibilities:

• Primarily expected to be on the floor selling and talking with customers.
• Adhere to a high level of customer service and store upkeep/cleanliness.
• Identify and complete small tasks without direct instructions or supervision.
• Become knowledgeable with all products offered.
• Assist with daily closing of the store.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 23 – 30 per week
