Job Title: Special Projects Team Member
Department: Maintenance & Operations
Location: The Sutton Place Hotel at Revelstoke Mountain Resort
Reports to: Operations Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract (Until December 1st, 2025, with potential for extension)
Schedule: Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (10-hour compressed workweek)
Staff Accommodation: Available
Wage: $19-$22 per hour
Position Summary:
The Sutton Place Hotel at Revelstoke Mountain Resort is seeking a versatile and motivated Special Projects Team Member to support a wide range of operational and improvement-focused initiatives across the resort property. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in hands-on work, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Working a compressed workweek (Tuesday through Friday), you’ll take part in everything from renovation support and room turnovers to common area upkeep and ongoing hotel improvement projects. This is a contract role through December 1st, 2025, with the potential for extension based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the organization and execution of room and facility renovations.
- Carry out room depopulation and repopulation tasks, including furniture removal, inventory relocation, and reset.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of common areas, storage spaces, and project zones.
- Execute hotel improvement initiatives, such as deep cleaning, repairs, fixture replacements, and furniture moves.
- Support interdepartmental collaboration with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Front Office.
- Ensure all tasks are performed safely and in alignment with hotel and resort protocols.
- Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in hospitality operations, facilities, cleaning, or renovation work is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods.
