Position Summary

The Printshop Technician is responsible for operating the computer-based high speed printing/copying, bindery, and finishing equipment in the College’s Printshop department. In additional to processing the printing/copying jobs for the College community, the incumbent is required to provide general customer service by answering questions, assisting with job quotations, processing of orders, arranging for outsourced printing for more specialized orders, assisting with job pickup/delivery, as well as completing payment/invoicing. This position is also responsible for ordering of supplies for the Printshop such as paper, toner, and other consumable supplies.

Additional Requirements

Incumbent must be trained and knowledgeable in using a computer – specifically in working with Microsoft Windows operating systems, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and printer drivers as they relate to document formatting & printing. Must also have average keyboarding skills.
