About the role
Overview: Upzoids is seeking a proactive, results-oriented Account Executive to lead B2B sales initiatives and drive revenue growth within the Microsoft ecosystem. You’ll play a key role in identifying opportunities, building trusted relationships, and delivering impactful solutions to public sector, not-for-profit, and enterprise clients across North America.
This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in consultative selling, understands solution-based sales cycles, and is confident navigating both RFPs and Microsoft partner-driven opportunities. You’ll work closely with leadership, MVPs, and technical experts to shape proposals and close high-value service engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through direct outreach, partner referrals, events, and inbound leads
- Own the full sales cycle — from discovery to proposal development, presentations, and contract negotiation
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to shape solution approaches and develop compelling SOWs
- Develop strategic relationships with clients and partners to support long-term growth and retention
- Actively participate in Microsoft co-sell activities, campaigns, and ecosystem engagements
- Maintain accurate CRM data, manage pipeline, and provide regular sales reporting to leadership
- Represent Upzoids at events, conferences, and industry forums to generate and advance leads
Sales Context:
- Solutions: Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power Pages, and UpCity 365 (accelerator framework)
- Industries: Municipalities, regulatory bodies, not-for-profits, and enterprise organizations
- Deal Types: Implementation projects, managed services, support subscriptions
- Sales Sources: Direct outreach, Microsoft referrals, RFPs, channel partnerships
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3–7 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in IT consulting, Microsoft services, or cloud solutions
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing presentation skills
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and build long-term client relationships
- Comfort working with technical teams to co-develop proposals and SOWs
- Experience with CRM systems, pipeline tracking, and forecasting
Bonus Skills:
- Experience in Microsoft Partner sales, co-sell motions, or licensing models
- Understanding of the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform product landscape
- Experience selling to public sector or regulated industries

Compensation and Benefits: Base salary plus commission. Total compensation will be competitive and based on experience and performance. Benefits package available.
