Summary of Responsibilities
- Action customer requests received through multiple channels, from quote to order
- Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about products, pricing and availability
- Order Management: review and track back-orders with inventory planners and warehouse staff and offer alternatives where applicable
- Resolve issues with delivery, inventory and invoicing – process returns and replacement orders as necessary
- Become a product expert in order to understand each customer's needs to provide effective and meaningful solutions
- Build sustainable trust-based relationships to guarantee a best-in-class experience for the customer
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-3 years previous procurement and/or customer service experience in an industrial environment is preferred
- Exhibit a strong ability to adapt to changing workload priorities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and plan work
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- Excellent initiative and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills: Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
