THE ROLE:
Commissionaires’ NL provides 24/7 security services at Goose Bay Airport. We are currently seeking a Site Manager to manage the daily operations of the site.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Constant liaison with Client and Account Manager
Manage the day to day operations of the site
Submitting payroll and scheduling
Briefing and training of new Commissionaires on their duties and responsibilities
Keeping up to date on personnel files and noting expiry dates on First Aid and Security Clearances
PER’S – completed yearly
Monitor Security Cameras
Ensuring that the airport Logbook is regularly updated
Reviewing all patrols and daily inspection reports, security reports and flight arrival/departures
Prepare Incident Reports, Security Breach reports and documentation for the client
Managing Intrusion Alarm systems
Be available after hours to provide support to staff if needed
Other duties as required
WHO WE’RE SEEKING
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Be professional & Reliable
Police Certificate of Conduct
Be able to complete a Government of Canada Reliability Screening through Commissionaires
First Aid Emergency Level (1 Day)
Must have Computer skills
Must have full availability
Pervious security experience considered an asset
Pervious supervisory or management experience required
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
The selected candidate will be professional and detail driven individual with a strong work ethic and “can do” attitude. Both physical and mental fitness is required. This often involves working in all types of environment conditions at varying times throughout the day or night.
Key qualifications and skills to be successful include but are not limited to:
Mental alertness with ability to:
React calmly, quickly, and appropriately in any crisis
Communicate observed characteristics/behaviours
Demonstrate problem-solving and sound judgement
Physical fitness with ability to:
Carry out foot patrols and walk up/downstairs.
Superior attention to detail with very good verbal communication skills
Must be able to work alone if required
Excellent customer service skills
