About the opportunity
As the Director, HR Business Partner, you will be a critical link between the Products & Tech organization and the HR function, ensuring that HR strategies and initiatives are aligned with the business objectives. You will work closely with leaders and teams to drive org design, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives to drive business transformations and growth.

- Build strong teams and partner effortlessly in a matrix global org structure
- Partner with technical leadership to understand business goals and develop integrated HR strategies to elevate business growth, employee engagement and Dayforce culture
- Partner with business leaders and COEs to build high performing teams and culture
- Foster and build a community of practice for HRBP and COE community
- Strong understanding of technical functions and career ladders
- Partnering with Tech leaders through the E2E process from strategic planning to execution.
- Lead initiatives to assess and elevate business effectiveness, including performance management and compensation. Work in interlock partnership with our global COEs teams to solve for consistent employee experience.
- Develop and drive Org health dashboard to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations to drive productivity and performance.
- Act as one HR team. Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork between the business and HR, facilitating effective communication and partnership across departments.
- Partner with Talent Management to collaborate on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment to support the successful implementation of Dayforce’s strategic imperatives.
- Partner with the Total Rewards team in driving compensation and benefits strategies and proactively identify challenges and opportunities within the sales organization.
- Lead high impact projects with on-time delivery, measurable outcomes and impact, and robust communication/change management; drive HR events such as annual review, compensation, and policy related implementations.
Skills and experience we value
- 12+ years of global HR experience; minimum 7 years of prior HR Business Partner experience. HRBP experience supporting technical teams is preferred
- Demonstrated strategic HRBP work and consultative HRBP roles.
- HR Management: Strong understanding and experience with core aspects of HR functions - staffing; employee & labor relations; performance management; leadership development; training.
- Strategic Thinking: demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items.
- Business acumen: Good business sense and judgement reflected in key decisions made within the business and HR function.
- Problem solving: Well-honed analytical and problem-solving skills. Creative, risk-taking and results oriented mindset.
- Influencing: Communicates with impact. Uses tailored communication and creates authentic and trusting relationships to influence clients, especially related to organizational planning & design.
- Proven ability to influence decision making; courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professional and poise. Comfortable working in ambiguous business situations; highly adaptable to a fluid and ever-changing work environment.
- Consulting: Strong coaching, consulting, and facilitation skills. Must possess consultative style and approach with proven ability to develop credible relationships.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to accomplish work through others, including leading project teams.
- Demonstrated experience in initiating and leading change, including modeling the importance, motivating others, managing the key drivers of change, and overcoming obstacles.
- Excellent follow-through skills and the ability to anticipate and address business needs proactively.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities with overlapping tasks across multiple businesses.
- Team-oriented attitude balanced with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
