About Us: Agora is a global network of professional artists providing high-quality freelancing services to studios across the world. Our mission is to close the gap between artists and studios, empowering them to work remotely on inspiring projects and provide efficient solutions for production needs.
Position Overview: We're looking for a versatile and experienced IT professional to take ownership of our infrastructure—both cloud-based and on-premises. You'll play a key role in keeping our systems secure, performant, and well-documented, while supporting the creative and technical teams with reliable tools and workflows.
Your Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure (Remote)
- Manage and maintain AWS environments:
- CloudFormation
- Modular Cloud Studio (LeoStream, NiceDCV, Qumulo)
- Administer OpenZiti, Nextcloud, and Perforce systems
On-Prem Infrastructure (On-Prem in Montreal)
- Maintain and monitor our render farm and license servers
- Manage Rocky Linux, Firewalls, switches, and backup systems
- Set up and maintain artist workstations (Windows and Rocky Linux)
- Support provisioning and updates for both local and remote environments
Security & Compliance
- Act as our Information Security Analyst (ISA) for ISO 27001
- Monitor security posture (e.g., Intruder.io), apply patches, manage firewall rules, and harden systems
- Ensure detailed, up-to-date documentation of systems and procedures
**What We're Looking For **
- Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, remote tools)
- Solid hands-on experience with on-prem IT systems (servers, networking, workstations)
- Familiarity with security best practices and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Independent, organized, and documentation-focused
- Based in Montreal or able to occasionally support on-prem tasks
