Empowering teams to deliver efficient, data-driven building projects by leveraging cutting-edge BIM technology and DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) principles. Specializing in residential design-build projects using prefabricated wood panels, we are committed to optimizing digital workflows, enhancing cross-disciplinary collaboration, and seamlessly integrating BIM models from design through to manufacturing and on-site assembly across Ontario.

Expected Outcomes (includes but not limited to)::
BIM Strategy, Implementation & Innovation

  • Lead BIM strategy, execution, and continuous improvement across project lifecycles.
  • Integrate DFMA and prefabrication principles to enhance constructability and reduce waste.
  • Stay current with advancements in BIM, prefabrication, and digital construction technologies.

Model Development & Optimization

  • Create and manage detailed 3D BIM models using tools such as Revit and Vertex BD (or similar software).
  • Generate fabrication drawings, material reports, and layouts to support automated manufacturing.
  • Ensure models meet Level of Development (LOD), Ontario Building Code compliance, and internal standards.

Coordination & Collaboration

  • Facilitate cross-disciplinary model coordination and pro-active clash detection (architectural, structural, MEP).
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to align design intent and execution.
  • Participate in project meetings to align on scope, schedule, and constructability.

Digital Workflow & Technology Management

  • Implement and maintain BIM tools, software platforms, and cloud-based collaboration environments.
  • Support automation, digital process optimization, and seamless data integration with manufacturing equipment.
  • Ensure project teams are equipped with proper tools, training, and support.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Conduct QA/QC reviews to identify and resolve design conflicts early.
  • Maintain data integrity, update models based on feedback, and ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code and standards.

**The Candidate:**Must haves:

  • Degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 3–5+ years of BIM experience, ideally in residential, prefabricated, or modular wood construction
  • Experience on large-scale or multidisciplinary projects, including Design Build environments
  • Advanced skills in Revit and Vertex BD; proficient with Navisworks, Shop Floor Solutions, BIM Collaborate Pro, and Dynamo.
