Position Overview

Top Health Ingredients (THI) is seeking a high-energy, results-driven General Manager to lead the business through its next phase of growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, the GM will drive revenue expansion, build strong customer partnerships, optimize operations, and strengthen the company's market position.

The ideal candidate will have successfully led a business or division within a high-growth environment, demonstrating excellence in sales leadership, brand and marketing strategy, operational execution, and market expansion. Experience in the plant-based ingredients, food, beverage, or related B2B sectors is highly preferred.

This role requires a strategic, entrepreneurial leader who can scale operations, develop innovative growth strategies, and foster a high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Strategy

  • Develop and execute scalable growth strategies focused on customer acquisition, revenue expansion, and market penetration.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to drive business growth.
  • Lead go-to-market initiatives that align with evolving customer needs and market demands.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Executive Team to position THI for expansion, investment, or strategic acquisitions.

Sales & Marketing Leadership

  • Drive revenue growth through integrated marketing and sales strategies that strengthen brand visibility, customer engagement, and market share.
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing leaders to develop and execute traditional and digital marketing initiatives — including trade shows, content development, brand storytelling, and targeted outreach — to support pipeline growth and customer retention.
  • Analyze market trends to identify emerging opportunities and competitive threats.
  • Lead key account management efforts, ensuring best-in-class service and solutions.
  • Monitor sales KPIs, optimize pipeline growth, and adjust strategies based on performance data.

Operational & Supply Chain Management

  • Oversee supply chain, logistics, and procurement functions to maximize operational efficiency and cost control.
  • Optimize internal systems, processes, and technology to support scalable growth while maintaining quality and customer service standards.
  • Partner with QA and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications.

Leadership & Culture Development

  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team that embodies a culture of entrepreneurial thinking, accountability, and innovation.
  • Oversee HR and recruitment efforts to attract, retain, and develop top talent across sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Foster leadership development initiatives that enable future growth and scalability.
  • Shape the evolution of THI’s leadership structure and internal capabilities, creating space for long-term growth, innovation, and personal career advancement.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Partner with the VP of Finance and Executive Team to develop budgets aligned with profitability and EBITDA targets.
  • Drive financial performance through strategic cost management and proactive reporting.
  • Track key business metrics and provide insights to guide continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in sales, business development, and operations within the plant-based ingredients, food & beverage, or CPG sectors.
  • Proven track record of scaling businesses, expanding market presence, and driving sustainable revenue growth through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Expertise in B2B sales, major account development, and customer relationship management.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and procurement best practices.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with experience leading in dynamic, high-growth environments.
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems (preferably GP Dynamics), and cloud-based business technologies.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% for customer meetings, industry events, and international growth initiatives.
