Status/Term: Auxiliary/Temporary Assignment - Full-time (70 hours bi-weekly) to January 30, 2026
Classification/Salary: Administrative Officer R15 | Position starts at $59,015 annually
Location: Vancouver Head Office (hybrid)

About the Opportunity:

As a People Development Coordinator at CLBC, you will help shape the learning experience for staff across the organization. You will coordinate and promote engaging learning opportunities, maintain learning platforms and resources, and support the administration of programs that build employee capability and organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and promote learning opportunities across CLBC, including planning internal communications and developing engaging program descriptions.
  • Maintain and update CLBC's learning systems, including registration, tracking, and reporting.
  • Support the delivery of employee orientation and welcome sessions.
  • Prepare online and print learning materials such as slide decks, handouts, and workbooks.
  • Maintain People Development intranet pages and collaborate with the Communications team to create impactful learning content.
  • Maintain and update online learning resources (videos, blogs, articles, job aids, checklists) aligned with the 70/20/10 learning model.
  • Organize event logistics (venues, catering, travel, materials, and room bookings).
  • Administer educational reimbursement requests and monitor the People Development inbox.
  • Support the development of learning analytics and evaluation metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance learning and administrative efficiency.

What you will bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in adult learning, Human Resources, or Communications (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience coordinating learning activities and providing administrative support.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication and content creation skills (e.g., blogs, articles, and internal communications).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, problem-solve, and collaborate across teams.

We're also looking for:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), SharePoint, and Adobe design tools.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Creativity in producing visual learning content (infographics, presentations).
  • A flexible, proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
