About the role

An opportunity to shape a healthier future for Nova Scotians.

Are you a visionary leader with the heart of a changemaker and the agility of an entrepreneur? Partners for Care (PFC), an independent non-profit partner of Nova Scotia Health, is seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization into its next chapter of impact.

PFC is on a mission to enhance healthcare experiences for patients, providers, and communities across Nova Scotia. They bring together business, community, and health sector partners to amplify resources and unlock innovative solutions that make a real difference in how people experience the health system, whether as employees, patients, or community members.

As CEO, you’ll report to a committed Board of Directors and be entrusted with the strategic, operational, and risk management leadership of the organization. You’ll champion PFC’s mission and vision and foster a values-driven culture rooted in innovation, collaboration, and equity. You’ll align people, purpose, and partnerships to create memorable, immersive experiences for those who either work in or utilize health services in Nova Scotia.

PFC is looking for a dynamic, highly professional leader who thrives in a collaborative environment, builds trust and relationships across sectors, brings strong political and business acumen, and has a passion for social impact.

This position is ideal for a highly motivated leader who excels at managing virtual teams and digital-first operations. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s degree and at least 10 years of progressive senior leadership experience. They have a track record of success in delivering exceptional experiences, strategic planning, partnership development, team leadership, communications, budget oversight, and risk management. They have a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a passion for customer service, social impact, and a commitment to driving positive change.
