We’re looking for a professional, detail-oriented Legal Receptionist / Office Administrator to join our growing team. This full-time, in-person role is ideal for someone with law office experience who enjoys variety in their day and prides themselves on their excellent organization and communication skills.
What You’ll Do
As the first point of contact in our office, you’ll be an essential part of our team, providing both front desk legal support and behind-the-scenes administrative coordination. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and updating lawyer calendars
- Greeting clients and handling front desk law firm interactions with professionalism
- Conducting client intake interviews and ID verifications
- Assisting with uncontested divorce filings and Wills and Powers of Attorney
- Using legal accounting software to process invoices, payments, and billing
- Opening and closing files
- Handling mail, printing, scanning, filing, and document preparation
- Coordinating with couriers and process servers
- Maintaining administrative compliance for lawyers and law clerks
- Maintaining office supply inventory
- Providing clerical and organizational support to lawyers and law clerks
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in a legal office , law clerk , or legal receptionist role
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and legal accounting software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time independently
- A friendly, professional, and adaptable demeanor
- Ability to drive and access to a vehicle
