We are recruiting for an experienced Lead Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team. This role will be based in our Corporate head office in downtown Toronto.
Job Overview:
The Lead Marketing Coordinator is a key role that plans, develops, and executes on the local marketing needs of dental practices in a designated region, and supports the Ontario region by overseeing the workflow planning and execution of diverse marketing activities, campaigns, and initiatives for 123 Corporate clinics in Ontario. This role works cross-functionally with stakeholders, internal teams, and industry vendor partners to drive results. This role will report to the Director of Marketing for Ontario.
As an innovative, service-oriented Marketing professional with B2C experience, the Lead Marketing Coordinator will leverage traditional and digital marketing knowledge and skills to create customized local marketing programs for their region of dental clinics. This role requires close collaboration with the Director of Marketing to deliver campaigns that address the unique needs of each practice, combining innovation with effective project management.
The Lead Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in the marketing department’s success, striving to create a collaborative team environment and support other Marketing Coordinators to do the same. They serve as a brand ambassador for 123Dentist, ensuring excellence and satisfaction among our practices and patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- For your region, you will have a deep understanding of practice KPIs, local markets, patient insights, objectives, and optimize the marketing budget for each practice. Whether it’s traditional marketing or digital, you have experience building the right campaign to target the right audience through the right channels at the right time.
- Oversee & ensure the development of local marketing omni-channel programs, planning and support execution, monitoring, and post-campaign analysis.
- You will have a pulse on your clinic’s marketing needs and priorities and strive to ensure continual improvement, transparency, and collaboration across stakeholder groups.
- Spearhead, delegate, and manage marketing tasks and projects received through the marketing ticket system and assign marketing support tickets to the appropriate teams within the Marketing Department to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with the Ontario Marketing team and Operations to understand the ON region's clinic requirements, objectives, and target audiences.
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing in planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns for the Ontario region.
- Write creative briefs to guide the production of marketing materials and collateral, ensuring a consistent brand image and messaging.
- Seamlessly onboard new clinics by educating them on our marketing services, gaining access to their platforms and transitioning to 123 Marketing, and developing and executing a tailored marketing plan.
Education, Credentials, Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field is an asset.
- 4-6 years of progressive marketing experience (in dental or health care preferred).
- In-depth understanding of digital marketing (e.g., print, radio, social media, paid search, organic search, local online marketing, website development, etc.) to inform & prioritize marketing planning.
- Strong project management skills and a proven ability to manage complex projects end-to-end
- Exceptional Microsoft capabilities including Word, PPT and Excel.
- Experience with team communication platforms such as MS Teams, Slack, and experience with online task and project management tools such as Asana.
- Experience with design tools such as Canva and Adobe.
Required Skills & Abilities**:**
- Considered the “go-to marketer” when something new needs to be created
- Enjoy learning about each clinic in your portfolio and adapting programs to meet their local needs and goals
- Excels at independently advancing projects, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
- Possesses strong end-to-end project management skills with a track record of handling complex projects.
- Collaborative approach and ability in relationship building.
- Possess strong business acumen, analytical abilities, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Excellent written skills, including proficiency in writing briefs, reviewing creative, and proofreading.
- Skilled and effective cross-functional collaborator
- Account/client service experience and mindset
- Results-driven, proactive self-starter, organized and focused
- Some travel to clinics will be required
