Our client, a rapidly expanding Canadian e-commerce company specializing in commodity-based products, is seeking an accomplished Sales Manager to lead and strengthen the performance of its inbound sales team. This pivotal role is central to enhancing the customer experience and will serve as a critical bridge between the sales department and the valued customer.
As a key member of the leadership team, the Sales Manager will take on full responsibility for guiding the inbound sales function toward excellence in customer service and revenue generation, ensuring clear communication, operational alignment, and a unified approach to customer engagement. With the organization actively growing and diversifying its product offerings, the Sales Manager will play an essential role in fostering long-lasting relationships with both new and existing clients—laying the groundwork for repeat business and sustainable growth.
The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated success in a sales leadership capacity, ideally within a fast-paced e-commerce or B2B sales environment. They will possess outstanding communication skills and excel at developing internal collaboration as well as customer rapport. A detail-oriented mindset is essential, paired with the ability to see the broader business context and adapt to evolving organizational priorities. Project management skills will be valuable in this role, as the Sales Manager will contribute directly to strategic planning and execution that enhances customer experience and sales team effectiveness.
This is a remote position and calls for a self-motivated, proactive professional who is comfortable operating independently and managing a remote employees. The ability to analyze performance metrics, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and lead with empathy and clarity will define success in this role.
