About the role

Job Description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Sienna, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents in a supportive environment. Your role will include:

  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Monitoring and documenting residents' health status and progress.
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Required Qualifications

  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta.
  • Previous experience in a long-term care setting is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with electronic health records.
  • Additional certifications in geriatric care or palliative care.

  • This is a casual position, offering flexibility in scheduling.
