About the role
As a Personal Services Data Governance Advisor, you help with initiatives that support the data quality performance indicator or create business value through sound data governance. You work with the Personal Services business sectors. You make recommendations on data use and compliance with governance documents that apply to data. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Help improve data quality for the benefit of members and clients, in keeping with sound data governance.
- Support the achievement of the multi-year data quality performance indicator specified in the execution plan.
- Document data quality issues in the applicable tools (profiling and documentation task).
- Develop and maintain data governance logs, tools and dashboards.
- Identify the sector’s data governance needs and opportunities.
- Carry out projects related to the development of data governance.
- Collaborate with Desjardins Group’s data governance teams.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience, ideally in data governance.
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of French is required.
- Knowledge of analytics tools, data management and how to apply them in a business environment.
- Knowledge of governance documents and standards for managing, using and sharing data.
