Job Overview:

Tillsonburg Custom Foods has an immediate opening for a full time Shipper/Receiver afternoon shift.

Shift Timing: Monday - Friday , 6:00 am-2:30 pm (occasional overtime)

Key Responsibilities:

· Fulfilling orders received from the Logistic Coordinator, Production Manager and Shipping/Receiving Supervisor;

· Physically receive all deliveries to TCF;

· Ensure that food safety is not compromised while loading, unloading and storage practices;

· Load trucks for delivery as required;

· Aid in/maintain the organization of product into the storage freezer

· Adhere to timing schedule set in place by the Logistics Coordinator, Production Manager and/or Supervisor

· Effectively manage the lumping crew as required for each of raw material

· Timely and accurately picking items/products from bill of lading

· Review and retain knowledge of inventory changes of product

Qualifications

. Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time and bend over

· High School Diploma or equivalent

. Ability to operate reach is considered an asset

· Ability to work as a team effectively

· Strong organizational and communication skills

· Ability to work in a cold environment

· Ability to remain flexible and adapt to fluctuating work requirements

· Ability to multi-task and remain standing or moving for long periods of time

· Prior experience in shipping/receiving would be an asset

· Prior experience in food processing preferred

· Participate as an active member of the shipping/receiving team

· Manual and physical labour of moving products

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• warehouse: 1 year (required)
• Forklift: 1 year (required)
• Reach Truck: 1 year (preferred)
