Warehouse Shipper – Burnaby, BC

The Role:

Our Warehouse Team is looking for 2 Shippers to support in the picking, packing and shipping of our gloves and items. This role will also help cover receiver duties as needed. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will bring your passion for accuracy, attention to detail and team work to ensure that day-to-day shipping is completed on-time, accurately and efficiently – all while delivering exceptional customer service. This role will support Watson Gloves’ overall corporate mission of elevating the glove industry with innovative and sustainable protection by protecting the people who work with us, the customers who buy from us and our environment in which we live. At Watson Gloves we do all of this in a fun and family-oriented environment.

Role Details:

Full-time, Permanent, Unionized position after probation

Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm

Location: Burnaby, BC

Pay rate: $21.39/hr

YOUR core responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Basic preparation of orders
• Fundamental shipping duties
• General shipping duties as required
• Good verbal and written understanding of the English language
• Assist other shippers and/or receivers
• Maintenance and clean-up of warehouse and rear-parking area
• Daily trash removal from warehouse and office area
• Help cover receiver duties as required, such as unloading containers, receiving shipments including processing documentation, sorting, restocking and organizing of warehouse area

What YOU BRING to Watson Gloves:

• 1 year previous shipping experience

• Valid forklift license is required

• High attention to detail, strong organization skills and a team oriented attitude

• High school diploma

• Ability to stand for the full shift
