We’re Hiring: Residential Estimator
Location: 340 Regional Road 20, Hannon, ON.
Are you a self starter, a good forward planner and able to make judgements/assessments in relation to budget costs from limited information? Do you thrive on working closely with other professionals including construction managers, planners and design teams? If you're ready to take the lead on stunning residential landscape projects and want to work alongside a team that gets things done—this could be the perfect role for you!
At Oakridge Landscape Contractors, we build more than outdoor spaces—we build lasting relationships, award-winning properties, and strong project leaders. As our next Residential Estimator, you’ll work with top tier team to plan, execute, and deliver top-quality residential landscape construction projects from start to finish.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist in preparing quotations for all Residential projects. This includes but is not limited to: flag stone, paving tones, water features and planting horticulture.
- Work directly with our residential department, President and collaborate with other Estimators, Superintendents, and more.
- Keep things moving—manage timelines, coordinate trades, and stay on top of budgets.
- Set up new projects and make sure every kick-off meeting starts strong.
- Visit job sites regularly to ensure quality work and happy clients.
- Be the go-to contact for clients, architects, engineers, and sub-trades.
- Identify issues early and act fast to keep things on track.
- Track project progress and costs to ensure we finish on-time and on-budget.
You Bring:
- A diploma or degree in Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Project Management, or similar.
- 5+ years of landscape construction experience (mandatory).
- Confidence in reading blueprints, understanding elevations, and navigating construction documents.
- Excellent communication skills—you keep everyone in the loop, from crews to clients.
- Tech-savvy skills with Excel, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Adobe, Word, and more.
- A valid driver’s license and clean abstract.
