About the role
PTW is seeking a local electrical journeyperson to join our team as an EV Technician in the Ottawa area. This role includes training and a company vehicle to service EV chargers in Ottawa and surrounding areas, with work extending beyond EV services.
Job Details:
- **Shift:**Monday to Friday
- **Working Hours:**8-10 hour days
- **Overtime:**Overtime opportunities may be available on an occasional basis
- Travel Pay: Travel time hours will be paid forastravelwill be requiredup to 4 hours away from Ottawa
Requirements:
- Must possess 5 years commercial / light industrial experience
- Must be a certified electrical Journeyperson.
- Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.
- Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).
- Experience servicing EV Chargers is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A demonstrated ability to work safely.
- Must have valid safety tickets (CSO, Standard First Aid, ESC Fall Protection and H2S Alive)
- A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
- Must be local to the area or within commuting distance
