Role: Software Developer – Risk Data Pipelines
Location: Hybrid in Montreal (with offices worldwide)
Salary: Up to 270k CAD base + Bonus + other benefits
Our client is a leading systematic and quantitative trading firm specializing in cutting-edge risk management solutions. They are expanding their Risk Technology team, which develops critical services for real-time risk controls, P&L monitoring, and automated trading operations.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, business-critical software
- Work closely with trading and quantitative teams to optimize risk exposure and capital efficiency
- Contribute to architecture discussions, mentor team members, and enhance automation in trade operations
- Ensure seamless integration with trading platforms like Bloomberg, Fidessa and others
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4+ years of Python development experience in the financial industry
- Strong expertise in database management systems (SQL)
- Knowledge of traded financial instruments (Equity, FX, Credit, or Rates)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
