Overview
We are seeking a creative, culturally tuned-in, and outgoing Social Media Manager to lead Swift Hockey’s content and community across all platforms. This role is perfect for someone who lives on social, knows how to grow a brand organically, and is tuned in to Hockey culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute on content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, etc.
- Create and post daily content that’s timely, relevant, and rooted in hockey culture — including short-form video, graphics, and copy.
- Work closely with our creative team to source, edit, and schedule content from photoshoots, influencers, athletes, and UGC.
- Engage with followers through comments, DMs, tags, and reposts — grow the Swift community authentically.
- Track performance metrics and use insights to guide strategy, posting cadence, and content decisions.
- Stay on top of social trends, memes, and cultural moments — and find smart ways to insert Swift into the conversation.
- Collaborate on launch campaigns, product drops, brand videos, and athlete/influencer rollouts.
- Maintain brand voice, tone, and visual consistency across all platforms.
Qualifications
- Experience managing social media for a brand or creator
- Strong copywriting skills and a feel for fast, punchy, brand-aligned captions
- Deep knowledge of TikTok and Instagram (Reels, Stories, Lives, etc.)
- Experience with content planning tools (e.g. Later, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
- Understanding of basic social metrics (engagement, reach, saves, growth) and how to respond to them
- Hockey knowledge is a must — you understand the culture, language, and humor of the sport
- Creative mindset with the ability to both ideate and execute quickly
- Bonus: comfort in front of the camera
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$35.00 per hour
