Anesthesiologist (300-1025)
Island Health has an opportunity for a locum Anesthesiologist to join a busy anesthesia practice at the North Island Hospital Campbell River & District Campus.
The North Island Hospital Campbell River & District Campus is a new hospital with 95 beds and serves a referral population of 60,000.
Surgical services include fellowship trained orthopedics (joint revision, arthroscopy & spine), General Surgery, ENT, Plastics, Obs/Gyn, Urology, Dental, and Sedation Service for Endoscopy. Anesthesia is covered 24/7, with some surgical call services shared with neighboring centers in Comox and Courtenay. After hours work can also involve ICU and ER for trauma or acute airway management.
Affiliation with the University of British Columbia’s Island Medical Program provides teaching opportunities to medical students and residents.
