Salary: $45,000 – $55,000
Job Overview
The Human Resources Assistant plays a critical role in the employee life cycle, from processing security clearances to recruitment and onboarding/offboarding. Alpine is currently looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and resourceful HR Assistant. This administrative role is great for a new grad or for someone looking to start a career in human resources. This role is 100% on site role, as it requires the setting and distribution of physical key fobs, among other responsibilities.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Conducting and processing online applications for security clearances such as CPIC, RCMP, Reliability Clearances, etc. for employees and subcontractors
- Assist with but not limited to recruitment, orientation, onboarding and offboarding.
- Assisting with special projects as required.
- Issuing (or cancelling) key fobs for client sites.
- Conducting internal audits of security clearances.
- Data entry using Dayforce and other formats.
- Assisting employees with HR inquiries via phone, email and in person.
- Supporting and participating in external audits with clients.
- Filing employment documentation.
What You Bring:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearances, is a requirement for this role.
- Resourceful and proactive
- Collaborative.
- Strong learning agility, with ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Strong emotional intelligence and multi-tasking.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office, and Adobe applications.
- Experience with Dayforce or other HRIS system is an asset.
- Previous experience in HR is an asset.
- Ability to speak in Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and/or Tamil is an asset.
Work Environment:
This role is an on-site position at Alpine’s Head Office located in Delta, BC. This role may require you to travel to various locations throughout BC based on business needs. This role has standard office hours but may occasionally flexibility in schedule to accommodate business needs.
