Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our hotel. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, living areas, and kitchens, ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other linens as needed.
- Restock room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and snacks.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Follow all safety and security protocols to ensure guest safety.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and colleagues.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
