About the position:

Wildcraft is growing, and we’re looking for a Social Media & Paid Ads Specialist to join our team.

This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, loves creating content, and is excited to build a strong, engaged community across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest. You'll help bring our brand to life through planning, content creation, posting, and community engagement.

You'll also play a key role in our paid media efforts, supporting campaign setup, creative development, and audience targeting on Meta and other platforms. You’ll help create ad content (static, video, and UGC-style), manage creative assets, and monitor performance to help optimize for results.

We’re looking for someone creative, organized, and eager to experiment. You enjoy working independently, take initiative, and love making content that feels meaningful and personal. This is a great opportunity to have a real impact on a small, fast-growing team and continue building your digital marketing skills.

You’ll work closely with our marketing and creative contractors and report to the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing, collaborating on strategy, creative direction, and execution.

This is a hybrid position, requiring 2 to 3 days per week on-site at our West End Toronto studio.

What you will do:

  • Create standout content for social media and paid ads, including images, reels, stories, and captions
  • Collaborate on paid social campaigns, contributing to copy, creative direction, media buying, testing, and optimization
  • Align content with brand strategy by working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager
  • Turn product knowledge into compelling storytelling that resonates with our audience
  • Analyze past campaigns to identify what’s working and improve future efforts
  • Maintain and manage the social content calendar to ensure everything goes out on time
  • Curate a cohesive, engaging Instagram feed that reflects our brand’s personality
  • Write sharp, on-brand copy for organic posts and paid content
  • Capture original content in-house and during retail visits, including behind-the-scenes and partnership moments
  • Edit and produce social-ready assets using raw photo and video content
  • Stay up to date on skincare and social media trends to keep content fresh and relevant
  • Foster community through thoughtful responses to comments, messages, and DMs
  • Use analytics tools to track performance and apply insights to your work

What you bring:

  • 2+ years of experience creating social media content for a B2C brand (bonus if you’ve worked on paid advertising too)
  • A genuine passion for beauty and wellness, with awareness of trends in the space
  • Strong video editing skills, especially for short-form content that drives engagement
  • A sharp eye for design and the ability to create visually compelling content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Excellent writing skills with a consistent, brand-aligned voice
  • Organizational skills to manage a content calendar and meet deadlines
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to use performance data to guide creative decisions
  • Confident engaging with the community through comments and DMs
  • A love for storytelling and making brands feel warm, relatable, and real

Bonus points:

  • Experience using Meta Ads Manager to run and optimize paid campaigns
  • Skilled at capturing original photography that complements the brand aesthetic
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, whether you’ve launched a side project, run a small business, or built your own creative brand

What we offer:

  • Full benefits package
  • Flexible work hours and a hybrid schedule
  • A relaxed, casual dress code
  • Fun team events and a collaborative work culture
  • Summer hours so you can enjoy more sunshine
  • Employee discount on all Wildcraft products
