FOOD & BEVERAGE JUNIOR SERVER - CALEDON (ALTON), ON
We are currently hiring individuals to join our Food & Beverage team in the position Junior Server for our Two Brothers Restaurant. The Food and Beverage Junior Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction. They play a key role in creating a positive dining atmosphere and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant. This role would include working in various outlets including our dining room, Grille snack bar, halfway house, beverage carts and banquet operations.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Embracing and Living our Common Purpose and Core Values
- Greet guests and assist senior servers in delivering food and beverage orders promptly
- Learn menu details, ingredients, and daily specials to accurately inform guests.
- Clear and reset tables, maintain clean serving areas, and attend to basic guest needs
- Use POS systems to assist with order entry and bill settlements.
- Be flexible across shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and event days.
- Stock service stations and replenish supplies during downtime.
- Observe all safety, sanitation, and hospitality standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred, but enthusiasm to learn is key.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a polished and friendly demeanor.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and multitasking.
- Basic math and POS familiarity (training provided)
- Flexible availability is a must.
- Smart Serve certification is an asset; we offer support to obtain it if necessary
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion and work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work a varied, flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Expected Start Date: August 2025
Job Type: Full-time and Part-time seasonal positions available
Contract Length: August-December 2025
Compensation: $17.20 per hour, plus gratuities
