Responsibilities Tasks
- Compile orders and instructions received from customers
- Organize tasks to accomplish the work
- Oversee operational logistics of the organization
- Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization
- Track and complete work orders
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
- Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
- Perform routine clerical duties
- Prepare and submit reports
- Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
- Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll and other summaries
- Light cleaning duties
- Monitor personnel workloads and locations
- Organize warehouse and work areas
- Perform general office duties
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Compile worksheets and specifications of orders
- Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
- Monitor production progress
- Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
- Provide customer service
- Train workers in duties and policies
- Arrange training for staff
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations
- Follow-up on issues with work orders
- Keep track of shipments
- Operate radio equipment
- Organize and maintain inventory

Sandhar Trucking is authorized to access all major ports and rails in Greater Vancouver. We are classified by Port Metro Vancouver as a large fleet carrier that provides daily container trucking service to and from Deltaport, Vanterm, Centerm, Fraser Surrey Docks, CN Rail, and CP Rail.
Our sufferance warehouse is bonded by the Canada Border Services Agency which allows us to conduct intact container examinations. The facility is approximately 100,000 square feet. It has 12 loading docks, grade doors & 7 railcar loading bays.
We are excited to announce our latest expansion. In February 2024, we will be adding an additional 75,000 Square Feet to our existing warehouse.
With this acquisition we will have 175,000 sq. ft of warehouse space, 22 loading docks, 9 Rail docks, 2 Ramps & 3 acres of secured parking.
